Tape Extrusion Lines

In Srichakra, State-of-the-art Tape Extrusion units from M/s. Lohia Corp. Limited, having production capacity of 3,500 tons per annum of polypropylene tapes of various weights and strengths. To ensure international quality standards, all the tape lines are equipped with highly sophisticated beta gauge systems as well as auto dye systems. This decisive extrusion technology comes alive in the skilled hands of our workforce to process over 9500 kgs of polymer everyday on some 60,000 square feet of indoor production area. Tapes are wound by new generation inverter controlled cheese winders to produce even size bobbins; keeps uniform tension of tape throughout the bobbin. Quality checks begin from Tape-making, Every lot produced is checked for its Denier, Strength, Elongation and Colour. We specialize in producing three-layer coextruded tapes.

Winding

Complete quality management systems are strictly followed at each step of the manufacturing process. This includes tape extrusion, fabric weaving, extrusion lamination, gravure printing, bag forming, bag sewing, quality testing and customer shipping. We strive to keep up with the latest requirements of woven polypropylene fabrics and to ensure our customers receive the highest quality products. In our endeavour of transparency and partnership with our customers, we have provided the details of our manufacturing infrastructure.

Fabric Weaving

The wide range of circular weaving machine at Srichakra are equipped with Microprocessor based loom controller, weft & warp break detection devices to produce over 750,000 meters length of fine & consistently even on the face of high quality fabric with almost negligible defect. With Experienced workforce at Sri Chakra produces a wide range of consistent & extensive collection of synthetic woven fabric, ranging from 60 GSM to 200 GSM, ready to be turned into small bags for broad application & FIBC for stringent applications.

Lamination

The lamination machines in Srichakra purchased from Sundarlam Industries, Bengaluru, which are designed to give an extra coating of plastic on woven and non-woven fabrics. These machines are fully equipped to do sandwich lamination of BOPP films, paper and non-woven fabrics which is further used for special applications. Lamination can be done with both Glossy finish and Mat finish.

Quality Test

Quality is must for getting good price of the finished goods. So, it is important to ensure the quality of the finished goods. This quality should be ensured from the beginning of the production. Quality test should start form the begning section and continue upto the finishing section. In the intermediate process it is also important to check the quality of the product.

Though Srichakra have Film thickness gauge monitoring system in our plants, we have other equipments like tensile testing machines to check the breaking strength MFI testing of raw material, UV testing, Air permeability testing, Weight test, shrinkage testing and UN testing as per Indian standards.
